The Kawawachikamach Naskapi CLSC provides community services to its residents. Although the community speaks Naskapi, English, French, and Innu, some elders over the age of 50 do not speak either English or French. In total, nearly 1,300 residents benefit from the support of the CLSC team, which consists of about twenty employees and ten contractual professionals. This facility offers a range of health services, including home care, health services, dental care, social services, and an outpatient clinic.
